Getting started with writing and publishing your research - 28 October, enrolment open until November 19, 11pm GMT. 

This 6-week online course Getting started with your research writing and publishing will help you build your confidence and skills to publish your first research paper.  

Our tried and tested online course has been constantly developed over the last decade to tackle the emerging challenges that global majority researchers navigate throughout their academic careers.  

This year we updated the content to cover Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how you can use AI responsibly within your research writing workflow.  Enrol here. 

 

Introduction to statistics - starts December 2

Whether you are preparing your first research study, or you are looking critically at the accuracy of your statistical work, the course will give you a good grounding in the basics. 

You don’t need to have a strong math background to succeed in the course; we start from the beginning.  

The course will help you to:  

  1. comprehend commonly used statistical terminology,   

  1. recognize the applications of statistical techniques,   

  1. utilize statistical software effectively,   

  1. and select suitable statistical tests for analyzing your research data.
