- Eghosa Noel Ekhaese is a Research fellow/ Senior Lecturer with PhD (Architecture), Department of Architecture, School of Environmental Science, College of science and technology, Covenant University, Nigeria. My area of interest encompasses interdisciplinary/ multi-disciplinary research based on Architectural History, therapeutic Architecture, Urbanism, Built Environment health/wellbeing, Behavioural Science, and Domestic Architecture theories. I has years of experience in working with communities. As TWAS post-doctoral fellowship with Focus on the cultural landscapes of houses and environment, I am particularly interested in the intersections of architecture and health. I am currently working on Built Environment Related Illness (BERI) and Built Environment association syndrome (BEAS) as it affects wellbeing/health and Life Expectancy in Nigerian Cities. Therefore I hope develop soft skill from the course that will enable me to make a more informed and robust research decision in public health of occupants in the built environment and help push backward the frontiers of knowledge in this research area of therapeutic architecture and built environment health. I am a PI of sub-cluster team that won a Grant for #14.6million to conduct a research across the 6 Geo-political Zone of Nigeria Environmental, Occupation, Family & lifestyle Factors As Predictors of Health/Psychological Wellbeing (under Wellbeing and behavioural Issue cluster). He is a member Nigerian Institute of Architects (MNIA), Member architectural association of educators (AARCHIES), Member Co-operative Network for Building Researchers (CNBR), Member European Centre for Research Training and Development, UK, Member International Journal of Social Scientist and Entrepreneur Nairobi, Kenya. However, I am open all kinds of collaborations be it multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary, across university, institutions, research centres around the globe (Asia, Europe America, Africa, Oceania, artic and so on). The bottom line is that it more advance the course of humanity and make the work a safer place to live.
