- Biography:
- Arslan Sheikh serves as in charge of the Reference & Research Section, in Library Information Services at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. He earned his MLIS from the University of the Punjab, Lahore in 2006, and his MS in LIS from Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar in 2019. Arslan has been associated with several educational institutions, including Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Hajvery University, and the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST). He is a dynamic researcher, with several national and international research publications to his credit. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for many highly ranked international research journals and is the Editor of the Library Information Services Bulletin (LIS-Bulletin), which is a quarterly newsletter for all COMSATS campus libraries. Arslan is also a recipient of many Appreciation and Research Awards including a consistent recipient of the Research Productivity Award, conferred by COMSATS University Islamabad. His research interests include library services, open access publishing, social media networking, cloud computing, and research data management.
