- Biochemical and Biotechnological Approaches to Enhance Animal Production for Better Human Health and Safer Environment. Animal products (meat and eggs) consider a major source of human nutrition, not only in the developing countries but all over the world. In the mean time these products could be promising functional foods that may contribute in strengthen human health in the third millennium. Ensuring proper physiological status of the animals under unsuitable condition (malnutrition, bad management, climatic stress, etc.) along with environmental – friendly production methods will guarantee feasible and safer production beside good animal welfare.
