- At present working at Hawassa University with an Associate Professor academic rank. Tewodros is offering courses for post-graduate students & supervising MSc - PhD research. Obtained Ph.D. in Agronomy from the Ethio-German SDG Graduate School. Conducting researches in the area of sustainable crop production, agronomy, organic farming, crop - climate interaction, and allied areas. Active projects: RAISE-FS; Soybean Agronomic, & Nutritional Evaluation. Crop & Input Diversification for Achieving Food Security. Strengthen Soybean Value Chain in Sidama Region. Sustainable Intensification with Cereal-Legume Intercropping. Optimization of Soybean – Maize and Amaranthus Cropping Systems, and Land Use- Climate Change Impacts Modeling: Enhancing Yield, Resource Efficiency, and Sustainability for Transformed Food System in Ethiopia, So far published about 40 articles.
