Dr. Zúniga González is a distinguished figure in the realm of agroecological engineering and sustainable local development. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, he has left an indelible mark on academia, administration, and research. Since his appointment as a research professor in the Agroecological Engineering Department at the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences in 2000, he has been at the forefront of innovation and progress in his field. Notably, his leadership abilities were recognized early on when he assumed the role of Facultative Administrator for both the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences and the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences from 2003 to 2010. This responsibility showcased his versatile skill set, balancing academic excellence with administrative acumen. His visionary approach to academic administration played a pivotal role in shaping these faculties' trajectories.
