Biography:
Lina Salomão, is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology, in the Department of Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology, in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, at Moi University, Kenya. Her thesis title is “Gender Relations and School Dropout in Mozambique: The trajectories of Girls in Maputo Province and Maputo City. Lina is a holder of a Master’s degree in Sciences of Education (Adult Education) from Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique), and a Bachelor Degree in Pedagogy and Psychology from Pedagogic University (Mozambique). She is presently employed as a University Assistant (Lecturer) at Eduardo Mondlane University, where she teaches and researches in Psych Pedagogy, Environment, Gender and Society, Environmental Sociology and Psychology and Methodologies of Environment Education at Departments of Education, Nature Sciences and Mathematics, in the Faculty of Education. Lina has attended several learned conferences in Kenya, Portugal and Spain.
