- Biography:
- Obtained my BSc from Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, Masters in Library & Information Science (MLS) from Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo, and PhD from School of Information Management, Wuhan University, P R China. I have written number of articles published in peer reviewed journals, and presented papers in research conferences in Sri Lanka as well as abroad. One of my contributions to the academia is the start of the Sri Lanka Library Friends e-Group, which in 2009 won the ILIG International Award of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, UK. I have worked as a University Librarian for 12 years. Currently a senior lecturer in Library and Information Science.
