Biography:

Dr Kamel Rouibah is Associate Professor of information systems, at the College of Business Administration, Kuwait University. He received the master and PhD degrees in Information Systems from Ecole Polytechnique of Grenoble, France in 1994 and 1998. Over the last decade, Dr Rouibah has acquired a significant academic and industrial experience. He has taught around 10 different courses related to MIS both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr Rouibah is also a two times recipient of the Best Young Researcher award and Social Human Teaching Excellence Award and in Kuwait University in 2002 and 2011. His research interests focus on management information system and information technology acceptance, diffusion, and satisfaction. I have authored/co-authored over 50 research publications in peer-reviewed reputed journals and conference proceedings. I have also involved in several European projects. My publications appeared in several leading journals such as: Journal of Strategic Information System, IT & People, Journal of Global Information Management, Computers in Human Behavior, and Computers in Industry; He has received the excellence younger researcher award from Kuwait University for the academic year 2001/2002 and the "Distinguished Teaching Award" for 2010/2011. I have directed many funded research projects. I am a member of the Editorial Board of several IS journals: Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, International Journal of e-Adoption, International Journal of Handheld Computing Research (IJHCR).
