Okpalajiaku is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, Energy Economist, and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with over a decade of inimitable experience across the electricity supply value chain. His multidisciplinary expertise spans power systems engineering, energy policy, utility operations, and energy market reform, making him a trusted advisor in both public and private sector engagements. He has led and contributed to high-stakes projects involving transmission and distribution infrastructure, renewable energy deployment, natural gas commercialization, and electricity market development. His career reflects a strong commitment to sustainable energy transitions, with a keen understanding of regulatory frameworks, project financing, and stakeholder engagement in complex energy environments. Dr. Chukwudi’s current focus lies in techno-economic research, strategic consultation, and transaction advisory across the oil, natural gas, power (including distributed renewables), and climate change sectors, particularly within sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA region.
