Biography:
Kenneth Tembe is an assistant lecturer at the Department of Dryland Agriculture and Natural Resources Management of IGAD Sheikh technical and veterinary school in Somaliland. He holds a first class honors degree in BSc. Agricultural education and extension and MSc. Agronomy from University of Nairobi (Kenya). He has vast knowledge in crop production techniques, farmer training and research. Besides teaching and research, he is involved in outreach and capacity development activities to empower smallholder farmers especially in dry-land farming. His career goal as an agronomist is to contribute to the continued growth of the Agricultural sector through generation, transmission and dissemination of relevant knowledge and technologies. He has authored three papers in peer reviewed journals and presented research findings in national and international forums.
