- Biography:
- I am an accomplished academician, researcher, consultant, and trainer with interests in government contract management, strategic management, resource mobilization, public policy, performance management systems, proposal writing, and effective supervisory processes. I have a strong track record in research, consultancy, and advisory services in strategy development, food security, education, environmental management, and water and sanitation among others. I have more than 20 years of experience in training and research, consultancy and advisory services, proposal development, and publication in international peer-reviewed journals. I have completed major study projects locally with the central government, civil society, and non-governmental organizations. Currently working as Acting Director of Academic Affairs for Malawi School of Government (MSG). I am also an accredited mentor for research and publication under AuthorAID, and a peer reviewer in several journals. Prior to my current position, I worked as Senior Lecturer and Research Coordinator for MSG (Kanengo Campus), as Lecturer and Acting HoD for the Department of Social Science and Malawi Assemblies of God University, worked as Regional Manager for the North for World Vision Malawi among other various positions in different organizations. I am currently finalizing my Ph.D. in Transformative Community Development at Mzuzu University. I am a holder of a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management obtained from the University of Derby, a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development obtained from the University of South Africa, and a Diploma in Agriculture from Bunda College of Agriculture among other several professional certificates.
