- Biography:
- Zongo Meyo is a Senior lecturer and a researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Computer science in the Faculty of science of the University of Ngaoundere, cameroon. She has a Ph.D in wireless communications, precisely vehicular networks where she designed a framework to simulate secured road traffic networks and proposed a mathematical model for road traffic efficiency as well. Her research work focuses presently on applying Artificial Intelligence techniques, specifically Deep Neural Networks for Time series prediction in various domains to help them in decision making . She was awarded the Techwomen Emerging Leader fellowship of her country in 2017 by the US Department of States, USA and she received the Erasmus+ research grant of the university of Bremen for the years 2018, 2020,2021 and 2022. She has been equally awarded a Faculty Scholarship at the prestigious Grace Hopper Celebration in 2018 at Houston, Texas, USA, which rewarded her teaching skills as a woman teaching in higher education. She works extensively with young girls communities from the University of Ngaoundere and from some high schools to empower them in STEM and has founded the Association for Computing Machinery for Women (ACM_W) student Chapter at the University of Ngaoundere. She is the communication Manager of OWSD branch of Adamawa where she promotes, along with other women scientists STEM fields. She is also representing the Erasmus+ Alumni scholars as one of the Co-Ambassador of the African Student and Alumni Forum (ASAF) in Cameroon. She runs a side Hustle in Data Analytics where she analyses any types of data from academia to enterprises.
