Biography:
Waidi Gbenro Adebayo is a Doctoral Candidate, Economics at the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Universität Witten/Herdecke in Germany and a visiting PhD Scholar at the Centre for Economic Policy and Development Research (CEPDeR) research group in the Department of Economics and Development Studies at Covenant University, Nigeria. He holds a master’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics, an MBA with specialisation in finance and operations management. He is an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and a member of the Global Coalition for Abolition of Poverty (GCAP) and, Action for Sustainable Development Coalition (A4SD), and CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation. His research interests are in sustainable development, political economy, agricultural economics, human capital development, poverty reduction, inequality, entrepreneurship and MSME development.
