- Dr. Shahnaz Hasan has completed her entry level professional degree in Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, 1999. She has completed her Master in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Jamia Hamdard,New Delhi. She has also been to Curtin University, Australia, to get her super specialization in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She has earned her PhD in Musculoskeletal specialization in 2013. She practiced as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist for many years in multi-specialty hospitals before teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in physical therapy in India & abroad. Presently, She is working as a Professor and has proven record of excellent teaching, research and Clinical management. She has several research papers and presentation in her account. Her area of interest is Pain, Muscle strength & Manipulative Therapy in various musculoskeletal disorders. Her long term ambitions are to test and develop non-surgical interventions for specific sub-populations at risk of hip and knee osteoarthritis, and for individuals who have early osteoarthritis.
