- Dr. Ismail received his B.S. degree in Agronomy in 2004, his M.S. degree in Agronomy (Crop Breeding) in 2008 and his PhD. degree in Crop Breeding in 2012 from Benha University, Egypt. He has joined the Maize Research Department, Agricultural Research Center as a Research Scientist & Maize Breeder since 2012. In 2017, He was awarded a Research fellowship in the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi, India for six month. Afterwards, he was awarded TWAS-DBT Postdoctoral Fellowship for 19 month in 2019 & 2020. Prior to joining the Maize Research Department, he worked in some private maize breeding companies.
