- Biography:
- Dr. Marinel Palattao-Dayawon serves as the University Director for Instruction at Isabela State University System. She previously held the position of Cluster Director for Academic and Related Affairs and served as Dean of the College of Education at Isabela State University Cauayan City Campus. She is a Full-fledged Professor VI, teaching languages and professional education at the undergraduate level, along with French at the doctorate level. She was honored with an Eminent or Outstanding Alumna award after graduating Cum Laude from the Philippine Normal University-North Luzon Campus. She shows her commitment to maintaining high educational standards by acting as a reviewer for government examinations. She has written books for higher education and textbook series for elementary students in Filipino subjects, including original short stories, poems, and various literary works. She is a published researcher focusing in language, education, gender studies, and women's empowerment. Additionally, she serves as an invited peer reviewer for WOS, Scopus-indexed, and international refereed journals. Recently, she was awarded as one of the Most Outstanding Women Leader in Isabela Province, Philippines.
