Biography:
I hold an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies, a BSc in Economics/Education and a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in Economics and Social Studies. I have completed a number short courses/capacity building trainings in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development space, etc. I am currently a Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation practitioner with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Abuja-Nigeria. I previously worked as the Project Administrative Officer of the Institute’s erstwhile capacity building project for the West African regional and national parliaments (NILS-CAP). Before joining NILDS, I worked as Peace and Security Projects Coordinator at the Centre for Peace Across Borders (CePAB) in Owerri-Nigeria, during which I took part in the International Development Design Summit (IDDS) 2013 in Lusaka-Zambia. I had equally worked as a fundraiser for the Irish Red Cross and DEBRA Ireland through Dialogue Marketing, Ireland. Again, I had taught briefly in the secondary school. By professional affiliation, I belong to the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP), Nigeria and is also a Fellow of the French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA-Nigeria). I belong to a number of development and learning networks. As a pro-bono development worker and promoter of Social Capital Development, I am open to collaborations. My research interests include Security, Conflict Resolution, Peace-Building, Environmental Conflict and Humanitarian Action, Public Policy and Development. I have an average working knowledge of French language. I like Reading and Writing, Volunteering, Travelling and Exploration, Photography, Making and Keeping Good Friends, Cooking, Gardening, Walking, Cycling, Racket Games and Swimming.
