- Biography:
- Prof. Chhatra Mani Sharma holds Gold Medal in MSc (Zoology) from Tribhuvan University in 1996. He completed an MS in Management of Natural Resources and Sustainable Agriculture in 2003 from the Agricultural University of Norway. He secured PhD in Nature Conservation and Management in 2008 from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He was awarded ‘International Young Scientist’ by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009 (first Nepalese to get that Award) and worked there for two years. He was selected as a post-doc researcher at the Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland for 18 months (2013/2014). He has 19 years of experiences in research and teaching at the universities (and research institutions) of Nepal, Norway, China, and Finland. He has more than 100 academic publications and presentations. Currently, he is working at the Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University.
