Biography:
This is Temesgen Lerebo Dobbo from Ethiopia. He has PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China, and an MA in Management of Vocational Education from Addis Ababa University and a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature from Hawassa University, Ethiopia. At different time, he attended various short term training courses and it gives an opportunity to learn about a wide range of educational leadership and policy; research management, project management; online course design and teaching; ToT; global social entrepreneurship and financial modeling. He has also more than 10 years of practical experience in the field of social development, with expertise in collecting and organizing international benchmarks, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation of the policies and strategic plans/program/ project as well and make them sustainable. He has extensive experience in establishing a relationship and contacts with government, donors, social, partners, private sector, civil society organizations in empowerment and creation of an opportunity for young people. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of educational leadership and policy studies, head of research and community service office, and Institutional quality Assessor at Wachemo University, college dean at Karvard College He is also serving as a Skillman Counselor in Skillman.eu network and as an Editorial and Reviewer Board Member for a number of international journals in the field of education since 2018 to date. He is very interested in teaching and conducting research on policies and strategies in the education sector more focusing on TVET and higher education [HE} sub-sectors both national and international levels, with a particular emphasis on quality education access, teacher quality, future fit leadership, students academic performance, policy analysis, education and technology, educational psychology, education relevance and quality, youth and employment, adaptive match skills development, Labour market needs and skills requirements, Stakeholders participations, strategy and strategic decision-making. He is an active member, contributor and leader for several international, continental and national professional associations, union and civil society/networks such as Africa Youth Commission, African Youth Movement, African Leaders Initiative, World Youth Alliance, UNESCO-UNEVOC, GNDR, The GenPORT, Global Entrepreneurship Network, Education Strategy Group, International Student Union at Beijing Normal University, YALI among others. He is the founder and General Manager for Enabling Training, a Research and Consultancy firm. Finally, Temesgen has impeccable sound communication with a very flexible and adaptable approach to work, he enjoys taking on new challenges as this allows me to grow, learn new things, and enhance himself.
