Biography:
Femi Gabriel OYENIYI is the third in a family of four children. He is at present pursuing a Doctoral degree in Animal Physiology, Reproduction and Bioclimatology at the Department of Animal Science, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. His research interests span across : Physiology of stress in farm animals, animal-environment interactions viz-a-viz overall productivity, assisted reproductive techniques. His vision is: "To ensure that food offers its inherent numerous health benefits to human consumers of all ages, gender, race and status in an affordable manner". His broad goals are : 1) To meet the technical and skill needs of several livestock farmers in developing countries. (2) To work on improving productivity in indigenous livestock breeds. Some of his hobbies are volunteering, reading, writing, singing and meeting people.
