Wilberforce Manoah Jahonga is an experienced professional with over 22 years in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), with expertise in leadership, curriculum implementation, and institutional development. He is currently serving as the Deputy Principal - Academics at Bushiangala Technical Training Institute in Kakamega, where he oversees academic administration and promotes innovative teaching methodologies. His career spans multiple roles, including Registrar and Town Campus Coordinator at Sigalagala National Polytechnic, where he led successful initiatives to improve student enrollment and program credibility. Wilberforce has held leadership roles in various academic committees, including as Chairman of the Research & Development Committee at Sigalagala, and has contributed to the development of strategic plans at Sigalagala National Polytechnic and Bushiangala Technical Training Institute. His academic background includes ongoing doctoral studies in the Economics of Education at Masinde Muliro University, alongside a Master of Philosophy in Educational Planning and a Bachelor's in Education. He has a strong track record in research, with published papers on topics related to TVET, youth employment, and education in Africa. Wilberforce also actively participates in professional development through numerous workshops and training sessions, and is a member of the Kenya Institute of Management.
