Many of us have difficulty starting to write. This presentation identifies some causes of this difficulty and provides some suggestions for overcoming it.

Here, for use in giving similar workshops, is the plan from a research-communication workshop consisting of 2 full-day sessions 1 week apart. It includes the schedules for the 2 days and the homework assignment for between the 2 sessions.
