Here, for use in giving similar workshops, is the plan from a research-communication workshop consisting of 2 full-day sessions 1 week apart. It includes the schedules for the 2 days and the homework assignment for between the 2 sessions. For the main presentations, PowerPoint presentations available in several languages in the AuthorAID Resource Library can be used. At appropriate times in the workshop, participants should analyze and discuss respective sections of papers they brought.

Although the article focuses on the type of mathematics presentation called a colloquium, many of the ideas in it also apply to giving other types of scholarly presentations.
