Eight Receive AuthorAID Travel Grants
We at AuthorAID are pleased to announce the newest recipients of AuthorAID travel grants. These grants give researchers funding to attend conferences for which they have had presentations accepted.
The recipients are as follows:
- Ryan Musumba Awori, Kenya National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation, to attend the Antimicrobial Peptides Gordon Research Conference
- Sabuj Bhattarcharyya, Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, to attend the 3rd Conference of the North American Pika Consortium
- Olusoji Henry Cole, University of Ibadan (Nigeria), to attend IFTR (International Federation for Theatre Research) 2015
- Md Nurul Islam, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Bangladesh), to attend the 3rd International Southeast Asian Bat Conference
- Winifred Nalukenge Nkalubo, National Fisheries Resources Research Institute (Uganda), to attend GLOW (Great Lakes of the World) 8: Advancing the Ecosystem Health Approach: Good Governance for Adaptation and Rehabilitation
- Oluwakemi Anuoluwapo Rotimi, Covenant University (Nigeria), to attend the SOT (Society of Toxicology) 54th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo
- Shristi Shrestha, Nepal Medical College and Teaching Hospital, to attend the 23rd World Congress of Dermatology
- Vincent Itai Tanyanyiwa, Zimbabwe Open University, to attend the Distance Education and Teacher Training in Africa Conference 2015
This batch of recipients is the largest yet to receive AuthorAID travel grants. AuthorAID received many good applications, and competition was tight. Congratulations to the recipients!
