Year-End Thoughts and Wishes
Welcome to my last blog post of 2014. I hope that all has been going well for you.
The year 2014 has been busy for AuthorAID. We presented online courses and led face-to-face workshops. We awarded workshop grants and travel grants. We released 3 or more blog posts each week, and we worked to increase our social-media presence.
Also, the AuthorAID discussion list was active, and the AuthorAID resource library kept growing. Efforts intensified to embed AuthorAID activities in INASP partner countries, with counterparts there doing more and more.
We on the AuthorAID team look forward to continuing to serve developing-country researchers and others in 2015. So this blog can serve you as well as possible, I’d appreciate knowing your thoughts:
- What topics, or types of topics, would you like our blog posts to discuss in 2015?
- Would you like to submit a guest blog post for possible use? Do you have other potential guest bloggers to suggest?
- What other suggestions do you have regarding this blog?
You can share your thoughts by posting comments below. Or you can do so by sending me email at bgastel@inasp.info.
I know that different AuthorAID community members come from different cultures and celebrate different new years. This diversity is one aspect that makes working with AuthorAID such a rich experience for me.
Will 1 January 2015 will be a holiday for you, or will it be just a regular day? In any case, I wish you and your families and colleagues the very best in the months to come.
Until the next post—
Barbara
