Resource of the Week #172: A Set of How-To Articles
Hello again. This week’s resource is a set of how-to articles for authors. Some of these articles address topics not yet covered in detail in the AuthorAID resource library or AuthorAID blog.
For example, one of the articles is titled How to Format Research Papers According to Author Guidelines. Using the journal PLOS ONE as an example, this article shows how to ensure that every aspect of a paper complies with a journal’s instructions to authors.
Another article focuses on How to Write a Research Paper as a Team. This article includes guidance on collaborating with researchers at other institutions—or even in other countries—in writing a research paper.
An additional article is titled How to Write and Publish a Research Paper. This article consists of 101 tips. The article is divided into sections, for example according to the stage in the writing process or the part of the paper being written.
The titles of the other articles are
- How to Choose the Right Journal for Your Academic Paper
- How to Write a Case Report
- How to Use RefWorks
- How to Use EndNote: An Introduction for Beginners
We thank Journal Prep, the source of this set of articles, for calling it to our attention.
Until next post—
Barbara
