This week’s resource is called DocLinks. It is coordinated by the Association of Commonwealth Universities. DocLinks aims to connect African and European doctoral candidates and early-career researchers. The resource also targets prospective African or European doctoral students.

The DocLinks website includes links to

  • Information on funding for doctoral study and other purposes
  • Guidance on research publication and related topics
  • Advice on subjects such as pursuing a PhD
  • Information on training opportunities, such as workshops and summer schools

Through the website, one can also join an online networking group for doctoral students and early-career researchers based in Africa and Europe.

The resource offers opportunities for African doctoral students and early-career researchers to link with their counterparts in Europe.

The news and events section of the Website is particularly helpful, as it includes announcements of grants, conferences, and important events. You may register to receive regular news and events updates through the link http://www.doclinks.org/en/news-events/rss/.
