Commenting Now on AuthorAID Blog Posts

By Barbara Gastel | Dec. 23, 2013

Hello again. I hope that all is going well for you.

In general, things are going well for the AuthorAID blog. I’m happy that we’ve had many guest posts, including many by researchers in developing countries. I’m also pleased that the move to the new AuthorAID website has gone well.

As Liam Finnis at INASP has mentioned, this move is not yet complete. The first phase occurred this month, and the second phase is to occur in early 2014.

Meanwhile, as you might have noticed, the Comment feature on the AuthorAID blog is missing. For now, one can no longer submit comments via the website. And currently one can’t read comments that were submitted via the old website.

The Comment feature, and the previous comments, will return in the next phase. Meanwhile, there’s another way to submit comments.

If you wish to submit a comment, please e-mail it to me at bgastel@inasp.info, with “Comment on Blog Post” as the subject line. Please include your name as you’d like it to appear. I’ll then add your comment to the end of the post that it regards.

I miss the comments. Members of the AuthorAID community have contributed much via the comments on blog posts. And for me as a blogger, comments provide welcome evidence that the blog is being read.

Please do submit comments. And if you might like to write a guest post, please also e-mail me at the address above. I can then provide guidelines.

Until the next post—

Barbara
