By Barbara Gastel | Aug. 08, 2010

Greetings again. I hope you’re doing well.

I'm pleased to say that the AuthorAID Resource Library now includes Portuguese translations of 5 AuthorAID presentations. The topics are

Vera Lucia Luiza, DSc, MSc, translated the presentations. Vera Lucia is a researcher at the Center for Pharmaceutical Policies, National School of Public Health, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Brazil. Her work includes teaching, research, and advising in public health.

“I knew about the AuthorAID initiative from a friend,” Vera Lucia writes, “and I find this a very important work, since there are many people doing very interesting things in LMICS [low and middle income countries], but many of them are not able to communicate well their results.”

The AuthorAID Resource Library now includes, in addition to materials in English, translations of presentations into the following languages:

Are there other languages you’d like the AuthorAID Resource Library to include? Could you help translate some AuthorAID materials? If so, please let us know.

Wishing you a good week— Barbara
