Portuguese Translations of Some Presentations: Obrigada!
Greetings again. I hope you’re doing well.
I'm pleased to say that the AuthorAID Resource Library now includes Portuguese translations of 5 AuthorAID presentations. The topics are
- Abordando a redação de um projeto (Approaching a writing project)
- Publicando um artigo científico: Uma visão geral do processo (Publishing a journal article: an overview of the process)
- A estrutura de um artigo científico (The structure of a scientific paper)
- Tabelas e figuras: Alguns conselhos básicos (Tables and figures: some basic advice)
- Apresentações em formato de pôster e apresentação oral (Poster presentations and oral presentations)
Vera Lucia Luiza, DSc, MSc, translated the presentations. Vera Lucia is a researcher at the Center for Pharmaceutical Policies, National School of Public Health, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Brazil. Her work includes teaching, research, and advising in public health.
“I knew about the AuthorAID initiative from a friend,” Vera Lucia writes, “and I find this a very important work, since there are many people doing very interesting things in LMICS [low and middle income countries], but many of them are not able to communicate well their results.”
Thank you, Vera Lucia, for aiding communication by translating the presentations!
The AuthorAID Resource Library now includes, in addition to materials in English, translations of presentations into the following languages:
Are there other languages you’d like the AuthorAID Resource Library to include? Could you help translate some AuthorAID materials? If so, please let us know.
Wishing you a good week— Barbara
