Opportunity to host Rising Scholars’ most popular open course!

We are inviting proposals from groups to deliver our well-established open course, Getting started with writing and publishing your research, running October-November 2025.

This six-week course supports early career researchers to build their skills and confidence in publishing scholarly research.

The selected delivery group will:

• Receive a grant of up to £3,500
• Deliver the course to a global cohort of thousands of participants via INASP’s Moodle platform
• Lead facilitation, engagement, and course administration

Who can apply?

• Groups affiliated with a university or research institution
• Collaborations between multiple institutions are welcome
• At least one group member must be an active Rising Scholars member

Key dates

• Course must conclude by 24 November 2025
• Proposal deadline: 31 August 2025, 11pm BST / 10pm GMT
