Enriching Community Involvement: Calling for hosts of Tea Time with AuthorAID!

AuthorAID believes in expanding the meaningful and inclusive involvement of community members worldwide. We strive to create a knowledge-sharing platform where members can grow, learn and connect with one another. As part of this endeavour, we are inviting expressions of interest from community members to host the Tea Time with AuthorAID (TTA) sessions in July. Our TTA sessions have been scheduled for July 14th and July 28th.

TTA is the flagship event of AuthorAID, bringing together scholars from all over the world to engage in informal conversations, expand their networks and explore collaboration opportunities—all while enjoying their favourite variety of tea or other drink.

We have scheduled two TTA sessions for July. The first will take place on July 14th, and the second session will be held on July 28th. On the 14th, we will conduct a TTA session guided by a topic of interest to the host or based on the community's needs. On the 28th, we will hold a general TTA session, providing an opportunity for scholars worldwide to network and explore collaboration opportunities. The timing of each session will be decided based on the hosts' availability and convenience.

We are looking for two community members to host these events. If you are interested, please email our Community Administrator Aastha Subedi at aastha.subedi@inasp.info and specify which TTA session you would like to host.

We will also provide guidelines for hosting TTAs to those who express their interest. The AuthorAID team will be present throughout the process, offering support and guidance.
