Launch of the HE Ameenah Gurib-Fakim PhD Scholarship Programme

• Launch of the “Her Excellency Mrs Ameenah Gurib-Fakim PhD Scholarship Programme”, a PEI-Gates Foundation initiative in partnership with the African Academy of Sciences
• Ten full PhD grants now on offer to researchers in Mauritius in areas of energy; water and sanitation; agri-business; health; blue sky research.
• Scholarships will include full support for study in Africa and in the UK as well as living expenses
• Applications should be sent to agfscholarship@pei-foundation.mu by 31st May 2016
• Research placements are due to begin from September 2016
