Resource of the Week #29: More Organizations for Writers and Editors

Hello again. As you may recall, last time the Resource of the Week consisted of 3 US-based organizations for people writing about science or related fields.

Soon afterward, an AuthorAID member posted a comment listing several such organizations in other countries. I appreciate her having done so.

Some of the listed organizations seem to provide especially useful resources. In particular:

• The Eastern Mediterranean Association of Medical Editors website includes links to the manual that this association prepared. The Manual for Editors of Health Science Journals is available in Arabic, English, and French.
• As previously noted in this blog, the European Association of Science Editors has a set of Guidelines for Authors and Translators of Scientific Articles to Be Published in English. These guidelines now are available in English and 17 other languages.

Also, the website of the World Federation of Science Journalists includes a variety of resources. It also has links to websites of many countries’ associations of science journalists.
