- I would be happy to work with scientists all over the world, particularity those working in low income setting and investigating the cross section between agriculture, nutrition and health.
- Biography:
- I am a graduate of Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition completing two post-doctoral fellowships. Currently, I am TRAIN@ED Research fellow at the university of Edinburgh, UK and also hold a position of assistant professor of Public health Nutrition at Dilla University, Ethiopia. Prior to these, I have been a Senior Research Advisor at the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) in Ethiopia, and an Assistant Professor of Public Health-Nutrition. I have published extensively in public health, nutrition and epidemiology journals on topics such as maternal and child health and nutrition. I am a member of the Ethiopian Young Academy of Sciences (EtYAS) and other professional associations. I won the 2017 "Tore Godal research award", and the 2015 ADDRF Fellowship APHRC. I have also won several research grants.
