Biography:
A professor of Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies with the Lagos State University where I have been teaching since 1984. A British Commonwealth scholar with PhD from SOAS University of London. A fellow of German Alexander von Humboldt of Germany, Scaliger Institute of Leiden University, among other awards. Over 150 publications made up of books, journal articles, review articles, in English, and Arabic. Has a good working knowledge of German, and has participated in several international conferences across the world over the past three decades. A fellow of several international organisation, including Royal Asiatic Society of Britain, BRISMES of Britain among others
