- Dr Awoleye is a Research Fellow in the African Institute for Science Policy and Innovation, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He earned a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science at the Olabisi Onabanjo University and proceeded to the United Kingdom to obtain his M.Sc. in Computing: Information Engineering with Network Management at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland in 2010. In 2015 he earned a Ph.D degree in Technology Management at the African Institute for Science Policy and Innovation of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is a CODESRIA laureate, having won a grant for thesis writing that partly supported his Ph.D degree. His area of interest include but not limited to Innovation studies, Internet applications, firm-level innovation, clusters and big data analytics. He has previously worked in various research and academic capacities for over a decade at the National Centre for Technology Management of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Nigeria. Dr Awoleye has published articles in both local and International journal outlets such as sciencedirect, Journal of Technology Management & Innovation, Government Information Quarterly etc.
