- Biography:
- My name is Tesfay Equar Kidanu, I was born on January 22/1988 in Tigray Regional State Mekelle at Quiha sub-city of Mekelle. My education was in the 1-7 grade at Quiha Embamamo Primary School 8-10 grade at Ayder Primary and secondary schools in Mekelle, and preparatory school at Atse Yohannes IV School in Mekelle 2012. I have obtained a B. A in Theatre Arts from Mekelle University after graduating, opened the Department of Theatre, then joined Addigrat University in 2014 as a graduate ll and Assistant lecturer for two, then am going to Addis Ababa University for a master's M.A in Multimedia Theatre I graduated on sept 7/2019 ' back to Addigrat University served as lecturer until November 2023, after up to now in Jimma University serving as a senior lecturer, researcher and giving community services. I am dedicated to my professional, and my passion for the stage, film/Tv, and Radio shines through in my work. I bring a wealth of experience and vibrant energy to every performance, captivating audiences with my depth of emotion and expressive talent. While specific details of my career are currently unavailable, I can paint a picture of my dedication. I am commitment to the Multimedia Theatre Arts is undeniable, evident in my consistent pursuit of excellence and my dedication to bringing stories to life. I thrive on the energy of the stage, film /TV, and Radio as a writer, actor, director, and critic as well as using my physicality and voice to create compelling characters that connect with audiences. In addition, I worked as a Playwright, Actor, Director, and Critic as well as a trainer in psychodrama therapy and jury at the festival Tigray Culture and Tourism Bureau. In addition, I participated in community service and research in the social milieu and won research at the university level. Produced more than ten productions, for example, The General, The Father, and Sewset that debates on Human compare with Man and Woman their suffix with Man. I work seamlessly within ensembles, contributing his unique perspective and skills to create dynamic and engaging theatre experiences. I continue to build my legacy within the world of theatre, leaving a lasting impact on all who experience my performances. I am looking forward to seeing my future contributions to the world of the arts.
