- Biography:
- I am a public health analyst at the U.S. National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences where I lead the training and capacity building efforts of the WHO-NIEHS Collaborating Centre for Environmental Health Sciences and coordinate the global environmental health program. My strengths are in the areas of research, program management, program planning and evaluation, building partnerships, learning dissemination, and mentoring. I have consulted with the WHO and the American Cancer Society, and have developed training programs and toolkits for public health professionals and educators. I have developed a workshop on research publishing and grant writing and have conducted trainings in India, Nepal, Brazil, Mexico, Kenya, and the US, which have been very well received. I received my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Michigan Technological University and my MPH in Public Health Leadership from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
