Raymond Otim is the Founder and CEO of YouScreen and U-Screen Medcare, organizations committed to improving healthcare in Northern Uganda. Through YouScreen, Raymond is raising cervical cancer awareness and providing screenings, while U-Screen Medcare offers affordable and free healthcare services, focusing on maternal and child health. Raymond holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from the Uganda Management Institute and a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods from the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research. His leadership in healthcare and social impact has secured vital support for his initiatives, including a $20,000 award from the D-Prize. Both YouScreen and U-Screen Medcare address critical healthcare gaps in underserved communities by partnering with local health facilities and government bodies. Raymond’s work is driven by a personal commitment to overcome the challenges he faced growing up in rural Uganda, where access to healthcare was limited. Raymond believes in the power of community-driven healthcare solutions and is dedicated to ensuring no woman or child suffers from preventable medical conditions. He is seeking support to expand these services and continue making a lasting impact.
