- Biography:
- He was born on September 30th, 1990. He is a progressive and intentional researcher with a deep interest in and passion for academics. He hopes to build an enduring academic career, anchored on innovative research and critical scholarship. His research interests center on human resource administration, public policy, administrative theory, and international administration. He has spent a significant span of his life seeking knowledge and proficiency in academics. He started his academic sojourn at Presbyterian Nursery and Primary School, Ikom, Cross River State, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 2003. He later proceeded to Pope Johnpaul II Seminary, Okpoma, Cross River State, where he bagged the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate in 2010 with distinctions. He later proceeded to the University of Calabar in 2012 for his first degree, where he bagged a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration (Second Class Upper Division) in 2016. He rounded up the program as the second-best graduating student with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.15 on a 5.0 scale. His deep interest in academics propelled him to immediately take up the task of pursuing his Masters' Degree at the University of Nigeria, where he emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Masters's Student in the Department of Public Administration and Local Government in the 2018/19 Masters Class with a record-breaking CGPA of 4.56 on a 5.0 scale. At the master's level, he specialized in human resources management. Before starting his Masters' program, he had acquired professional certificates in Project Management, Customer Service and Relationship Management (CSRM), Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and Human Resource Management during his mandatory one-year National Youth Service year in 2018 from Skillsedge Consulting Limited, Abuja. He is in the early stages of his doctoral studies at the University of Nigeria where he specializes in Human Resources Management. He has published six critical journal articles and a book chapter in a mainland book. He has eleven (11) manuscripts to his credit, currently under peer review for publication in reputable international journals indexed by Scopus, Thompson Reuters, and Scimago. As a researcher, he has attended four conferences, and one research workshop, mentored undergraduates, supervised undergraduate project writings, and organized public enlightenment campaigns against contemporary social vices such as cybercrime, armed robbery, and kidnapping. He has also worked as a research assistant for three eminent researchers at the University of Nigeria, Prof. Ukechukwu Marcellus Ikeanyibe, Prof. Chikelue Ofuebe, and Prof. Fabian Onah, as part of an internship. He possesses interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and result-oriented attributes. He has an irresistible interest and zest for rising to the highest echelons of academic life.
