Biography:
I am a social scientist with research and academic experience in the natural and social aspects of the environment and human health. I am an interdisciplinary researcher and applies both qualitative and quantitative data processing techniques in understanding human-environment interactions from complex Economics and Fishery Resources perspectives. My current research interest focuses on blue economy governance and coastal resilience, as well as climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies. I am a scholar of the World Bank’s Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR) Scholarship, currently at the final stage of my MPhil in Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM thesis that focuses on the Economic assessment of the impact of social protection services on household livelihoods among fisherfolks in Ghana. Besides, I am currently a Ph.D. Economics candidate at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and my proposed research topic focuses on: An economic model-based assessment of fisherfolks' alternative adaptation options under climate change in Ghana. Apart from this, I am looking forward to develop my professional career in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics.
