- Dr. Mohammad Shameem Al Mamun is working as a Principal Scientist at the Bangladesh Tea Research Institute. He obtained Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Agriculture and Master of Science (MS) in Entomology from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. He was awarded his PhD from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet. Now, he is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. He has more than 100 publications, including five books and book chapters. Dr. MSA Mamun has attended several training sessions, webinars, seminars, symposiums, and conferences at home and abroad. He is also associated with many different national and international professional organizations and societies, such as Krishibid Institution Bangladesh, Bangladesh Entomological Society, Bangladesh Botanical Society, Zoological Society of Bangladesh, Entomological Society of America, Acarological Society of Iran, and Asian Council of Science Editors. He has many remarkable innovations, such as Duti Pata Ekti Kuri, Somotoler Cha Shilpo, Camellia Open Sky School, TeaSoft, Tea24, Tea IPM Technology, and Yellow Sticky Trap, for the advancement of the tea industry in Bangladesh.
