Biography:
Shyam Kumar Thapa is an aspiring Economic Analyst. He holds Master of Arts in Economics and Masters Degree in Business Studies with specialization in Marketing from Tribhuvan University and undergraduate in Social Science with specialization in Economics and Political Science. His teaching assignments include management and economic courses like International Business, Business Environment, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. He is currently engaged as Executive Director of research and consulting firm Institute of Socioeconomic Research and Development (ISRD). Mr. Thapa has conducted various researches with partner agencies such as government, World Bank, ADB and other various development agencies. He also worked as Daayitwa Public Service Fellow at Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security. His area of expertise and interests includes International trade and investment, Public economics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Public policy analysis and Private sector development.
