Biography:
Dr. Sachin Chandrakant Ekatpure is a seasoned researcher specializing in plant physiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology. Currently, he is a Research Associate and Technical Manager at ICAR-National Research Centre for Grapes, where he contributes to the APEDA-NRL Project on pesticide residue monitoring. Dr. Ekatpure has extensive experience with advanced analytical instruments such as SCIEX Qtrap 6500+ LC-MS/MS and LC orbitrap, focusing on pesticide residue analysis and plant secondary metabolites. He is adept at developing analytical methods and managing contract research trials. His previous roles include a Junior Research Fellow and Young Professional-I at the National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management, where he worked on RNAi and VIGS approaches to enhance drought and heat tolerance in soybean. He has also served as an Assistant Professor, delivering lectures on genetic engineering, tissue culture, and molecular biology, and supervising student research. His work at Jindal Crop Sciences involved ensuring the genetic purity of vegetable seeds through SDS PAGE and field trials. Dr. Ekatpure has authored several research articles, contributing significantly to the fields of plant stress physiology and biotechnology.
