- Biography:
- I joined the Department of History and International Studies as a Graduate Assistant on May 18, 2009. I got converted as an Assistant Lecturer in March 2011 after my M.A Degree. In 2012, I was elevated to Lecturer II and again to lecturer 1in October 2015. During this period I have attended conferences and seminars. I am a member of Historical Society of Nigeria and Igbo Studies Association. I am a young academic with aspiration, hoping to reach the peak of my career as a full Professor in Social History. I have the passion for teaching and research and hopefully, with mother luck and dint of hard work, this ambition would be attained with ease. In a year with my PhD programme behind me, I will dedicate myself to teaching and research in Social History of the Igbo people. I hope to get more grants within the next five years to deepen my research in other aspects of Nigeria history. I hope to sell my ideas around the world at major international conferences. I would learn from and exchange ideas on modern ways of research. Aside from AuthorAid training, I have also been trained on Advanced Research Design organised by Partnership for African Social & Governance Research (PASGR) specialising in Comparative Case Analysis.
