Biography:
I am an associate professor of HPB surgery and laparoendoscopy and the Director of Qena University Emergency Hospital, South Valley University, Egypt. I am working as a consultant of surgery at Luxor international hospital (2017), Qena Health Insurance Hospital (2018), Qena Oncology Center (2018), Qena Fever Hospital (2019) and Trainer of General Surgery in Egyptian Board of General Surgery (Compulsory Egyptian Medical Training Authority) and Trainer of General Surgery in Egyptian Fellowship of General Surgery. I have MD (general surgery) 2013, Working as a member of Egyptian society of surgeons (ESS), Egyptian Society of HBP Surgeons, and the Egyptian association of continuing medical education development. 18 international articles have been published, 2 MD theses were supervised, 5 master degrees were supervised, editorial board member and a reviewer for many international journals, many international administrative and medical conferences, workshops and training courses were attended. The subspecialty is hepato-pancreatico-biliary (HPB) surgery with wide experience in laparo-endoscopy. I have many clinical duties (Running the outpatient clinics daily and weekly, managing and running the surgical inpatient wards, operating minor and major advanced general surgeries and oncology) and teaching duties (Teaching general surgery course in the clinical sessions and lectures for the undergraduate students in Qena Faculty of Medicine, organizing and participating in a weekly scientific activities, teaching and training of junior registrars, residents, house-officers and nursing staff).
