Biography:
An expert in clinical research management with over 20 years of experience in Clinical Research Phase II, Phase III and Phase IV studies. My expertise is in public health science, compiling study reports, scientific writing, designing case report forms, designing electronic data capture systems, and simple data analysis. Setting up a clinical site in the areas of Planning and Legal considerations, i.e., Legal structure, regulation and permits and approvals, Location and Facility, i.e., Site selection, Equipment, and supplies, Staffing healthcare professionals, and training, patient management through appointment scheduling and electronic health records (EHR). I hold an MSc. Health Informatics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor of Business Administration Honours in Human Resource Management from Garden City University College Kumasi, and a Diploma in Youth in Development Work from the University of Ghana. I am a member of the Ghana Health Informatics Association (GHIA) and Health Informatics in Africa - The Pan African Health Informatics Association). Currently, I am a Manager at the Research, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation, at the National Health Insurance Authority, Accra. I have worked on several research projects as Deputy Data Manager at the Malaria Research Center, Agogo, as Study Coordinator, at the German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbruecke (DIfE), and on The Ghana Men’s Study II. I am working on my idea project “The Ashanti Regional Integrated Health Project” which aims to provide customers seeking health services under one umbrella. Currently, working with the Ghana National Health Insurance Authority.
