Building a Smart Scholar Mindset for Researchers
The Rising Scholars Soft Skills Series is designed to give researchers a supportive space to discuss and learn skills that help us grow within our institutions and beyond the traditional academic environment. The sessions are targeted at students, early-career researchers, and professionals across the NORHED African Institutions, as well as the wider global network.
Join this session as we focus on:
- Research Writing Foundations - structuring your research topic, identifying key variables, and using search tools like Google Scholar to find relevant and credible literature.
- Digital Presence - using platforms and simple strategies to grow your online visibility, network, and collaborations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - turning your writing, including creating eBooks, into opportunities for self-reliance, and additional income as a scholar.
