BIO OF FACILITATOR:

Suryendra Singh is an agricultural extension professional specialising in crop production and cropping, as well as farming systems research. As an Assistant Professor (Agronomy) at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, Punjab, posted at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Barnala, since 2014, his research focuses on developing suitable cropping and farming system models for increasing productivity and sustainability in the northwest Indo-Gangetic Plains of India. Singh did Ph.D. in Agronomy from Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Singh is passionate about communicating agricultural science to the farming community for their livelihood security and well-being.
